Mission Statement

AGC ... dedicated to represent the best interest of the member firms in the construction industry and the greater business environment. Also, promotes a better industry through skill, integrity and responsibility for those that build in Nebraska and beyond.

ABC ... will continually strive to be the leading voice promoting free enterprise within the industry, and will promote and defend the Merit Shop philosophy.

Vision Statement

ABC ... is an environment in which people and companies succeed based on free-enterprise principles within the free-market system.

Membership

AGC ... General Contractors are the main focus and full voting members. Specialty Contractors and service providers are Associate Members. All state memberships include a membership in AGC of America.

ABC ... General membership is open to all Merit shop general contractors and subcontractors, in addition to lawyers, accounts and insurance companies. State members are also members of the national affiliate.

General Philosophy

AGC ... represents contractors that practice all methods of project delivery systems.

ABC ... represents contractors who bids and wins work based on price. All contractors should be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.

Educational Programming Emphasis

AGC ... focuses the education and employee development efforts on the site superintendent on up to the management team and top leaders.

ABC ... focuses the educational and worker development efforts on job site foreman and craft workers.
